The Dixon mink farm in Bluffdale, Utah will not be reopening.
Bryce Dixon’s application for a business license to operate a fur farm has been denied by the city. Because of changes to the zoning code, mink farming is no longer a permitted use of the property. The Dixon farm, hidden behind a solid metal fence, had been the subject of complaints for years from neighbors sick of the flies and smells coming from the farm.
